me & baby pearl

i was glad when nana, aunt heather, and baby pearl came to see me. pearl was really good at playing with the ball popper...so good i thought for sure she would crawl right after them. she can do the flip-turn move that i used to use to get around. pretty soon she's going to be into everything!

so much to love about spring

not sure what's better: eating corn right off the cob or having dinner on the back porch. either way, i'm a happy camper. i like to help uncle benno set the table, carry my plate outside, and say the blessing.

there's nothing more fun than riding the "big tricycle" at grandma and grandpa's house. grandma lets me ride it down the street and into the cul-de-sac. i can even sort-of pedal on my own.

mother's day was great. i helped my mom make this fruit bouquet. i like poking things with sticks.

livin' it up down on the farm

i had a fish on the line, and i didn't even know it. granddaddy (a.k.a. "grandy") got real excited. and my mom hasn't even caught a fish at the farm yet!

grandy helped me reel it in. i wasn't sure what to expect on the other end of the line.

i didn't pet the fish this time. uncle jimbo helped me throw it back in the pond. that fish got away with my hook!

jimbo and molly got me my new hat. i think it makes me look just as cool as my uncle jimbo looks in this picture.

life is good...at the farm.

mama's boy

one day i'll be too big for my mom to pick me up and carry me around the block.

but, for now, at least, i'm still my mama's baby boy.
