me and my uncle

uncle benno is teaching me how to reach out and grab stuff. he says after i master this spotted giraffe's neck, i can move on to my striped cat's tail.

under the weather...

dad and i were feeling a little cold coming on after my well-visit to the doctor. i had the sniffles for 14 days.

it was my first cold.

i'm four months old today!

dad took me to my four month checkup today. i weigh 15 lbs 2 oz, and i'm 26 inches long. i also get to eat some real food now, which is good, because i need some more calories to support all this growing i'm doing!

this is my favorite thing to do

i love hanging out on my wedge in the middle of the kitchen floor. i can see everything, and, if i'm barefoot, i can scoot from one side of the kitchen to the other side. it's real fun.

i'm not quite big enough…

for this bumbo thing. my head still bobs up and down. for now, i'll just stick to laying on my wedge.

grammy helped me get situated in my new ride today. pretty soon i'll be racing uncle benno and uncle jimbo on the trail.

of course, i'll bring barley along too.

so many stripes!

who knew my mom would make me wear so many stripes? she says it's because that's all they make for little boys, but i don't know…what i do know is that i need to m-o-v-e! i'm working on my skills so i can stand up on my own real soon.

nana and papa came to visit…

we got to play and sing and go for walks. it was fun!
